Keith Hopkins

Historian and sociologist, Keith Hopkins was professor of Ancient History at Cambridge University from 1985 to 2001. His avuncular style was ideally suited to the "television history" era, and scarcely any British documentary which even touched on the Roman era made in the last ten years did not include some contribution from him, including the BBC/PBS series I, Caesar.
