Mallory Culbert

Mallory Culbert grew up in Dallas, Texas, attended Highland Park High School, and graduated from the Plan II Honors Program at the University of Texas in Austin where she wrote her first feature screenplay for her senior thesis. Culbert studied with Bill Esper and The Groundlings, and, in 2011, Culbert returned to Austin and began developing the narrative feature "Andie MacDowell," later renamed "The Big Spoon."
