Michael E. Ryan

Son of General John Dale Ryan, General Michael E. Ryan was the 16th Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force from October 1997 until his retirement on October 1, 2001. A graduate of the Class of 1965 at the US Air Force Academy, he flew in combat in Southeast Asia, including 100 missions over North Vietnam. He made a cameo appearance as himself in the Stargate SG-1 (1997) episode Prodigy (2001).
