Jean Counet

Jean Counet finished his study film at the Sint-Lukas institute in Brussels in 2005. All his student films won numerous awards and were shown and broad casted on international film festivals and television channels like YLE, VPRO and NPS. His graduation films Trulichka was directly awarded by the Flamish Audiovisual Fund with a Wild Card making it possible to realize his first documentary Inhale Exhale. Further Counet is working as cinematographer for different documentary and fiction films commissioned by ARTE, YLE, VPRO, LICHTPUNT and BOS. He also makes regularly (short) films for Dutch broadcaster VPRO's successful documentary series: Metropolis and Backlight.
