Sebastian Mantilla

Spanish-Ecuadorian raised in Stockolm, Berlin, Bucarest and Brussels. Con Diva was his first live-action short film selected at Cannes's Critic's Week and Sundance Film Festival. Subsequent to producing, writing and directing several other short films including White, The Captain, La Guagua, and Chunchi, he shoots the independent feature Next To Babilonia in Ouarzazate, Morocco. The film screened at Cartagena de las Indias International Film Festival in Colombia and received the award for Best Director at The European Independent Film Festival 2009 and Best Picture at Madrid Int. Film Festival. In 2018 he shoots Island of the Dolls with Isela Vega in the main cast.
