D.J. Summitt was born North Carolina where he attended film school at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He first attracted attention with his short "Doomed to Failure." His career spans broadcast television, film, and corporate brands. After spending time in Baltimore, Los Angeles, and Taipei he now resides in San Diego with his wife and dog.
