Biography

Nick Schelle is a filmmaker and a musician from Victoria, British Columbia, who has been involved in theater, Film and Television for many years. After winning Best Picture and Viewer's Choice awards at the 2000 O.B.H. Film Festival, for his film Without You (2000), Nick co-created the critically acclaimed live musical Circus! with Jeff Bryant, Jeremy Hewitt, and Dave Walcer. It performed at the Victoria Fringe festival in 2000, and was widely received as "The funniest thing at the fringe!" In 2002, He graduated with honours from the film studies coarse at Vancouver Film School. During his time there he made the films System Error: Rudibaga (2002), Paradox (2002) and Mestirioso and the Power of Suggestion (2003). As well, he was the editor and composer for the Golden Sheaf nominated short documentary "Rockatiers". In 2003 Nick teamed up once again with Jeff Bryant and Jeremy Hewitt, as well as creative sensations Billy Reid and Caley Campbell, to make the short film "Pantomimus", which aired on ZED TV November 18, 2003. With the success of their film, they decided to join forces for another film together, Stereotype (2004). Nick Schelle is currently working on his new film Hawaii (2004), which will be completed at the end of 2004.
