Bob Tourtellotte (executive producer) has currently finished production on his third short film, "Carrie's Choice," about a young girl who becomes pregnant and must consider her options. The film has been fiscally sponsored by Women Make Movies and is in post-production. Prior to that Bob produced the short film "A Host of Daffodils," which has played a number of festivals, winning audience award - special mention at the Wilmington Film Festival and Emerging Filmmaker Award at the Woods Hole Film Festival.
Bob's producing experience, "Dog Gone" is a short film, written by Bob. The film was co-produced and directed by his partner in FilmMcQueen, Jane Clark, and went on to earn director's pic from the Woods Hole Film Festival. He has written several feature film scripts and is currently working on a trilogy of screenplays based on his own experiences growing up. He has recently finished the first of those is the screenplay "Capitol Page" which centers on his memories of the year he spent (at the age of 15) working as a capitol page in Washington DC. The next script concentrates on a year spent working on his father's campaign to be Lieutenant Governor.
After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in economics Tourtellotte worked in the family real estate business, managing and running properties through his own company. After several years, he moved to New York City where he attended New York University earning an M.A. in journalism. After graduating Tourtellotte created, contributed to and published the underground magazine, "Gotham," before landing a job with Reuters as their media correspondent.
