Santa Monica Gomez

Monica Gomez was born in Venezuela, South America. She studied classical ballet, tap and jazz, as well as traditional dances. Her early show business career was primarily as a dancer. Her stunning beauty, long blond hair, and very shapely body lead to her role as a host on a popular Spanish-speaking television show produced and filmed in Miami Beach, Florida. The show was a take-off of the popular U.S. show, Candid Camera. The beautiful Gomez frequently commented that she spent her free-time at home, avoiding the night-club scenes of South Beach. It's through these comments that she earned the nickname "Santa" Monica. "Santa" is the Spanish word for saint.
