Biography

Tony Chu is an actor, filmmaker and screenwriter. Tony is a trained actor for stage & screen (19 yrs). His recurring TV guest roles have included: "Packed to the Rafters" (Henry Wong / waiter), "Wild Boys" (Li Peng / goldminer) and "All Saints" (anaesthetist). His recent TV appearances were in: "House of Bond" (Lei Cheng / banker) and "Rake" (Chinese diplomat). In 2022, he will appear in the Netflix dramedy series "Wellmania" as Goong Goong / Mr Kwan. Super-versatile, Tony enjoys playing against type, especially revelling in edgier roles. With a broad emotional range, he can also cry on cue if needed. On first impressions, Tony has an expressive smiley face similar to Jackie Chan! In fact, he is often cast in comedic roles - as seen on various funny TV commercials.
