Biography

Tamara Anghie is an Academy Award® Nominee and a multi-award winning Producer, Line Producer and Production Manager of films, commercials, new media and games. She has extensive international experience having worked in Australia, South-East Asia, UK, Ireland and now the US. Tamara was the lead producer of the feature, Run & Jump, directed by Oscar® nominated Steph Green, starring Variety's Breakthrough Performer of the Year 2013, Will Forte. Award-winning and critically acclaimed, with glowing reviews from both the New York and Los Angeles Times, the film was picked up for North American distribution by IFC/Sundance Selects and opened theatrically in over 15 cities (including LA & NY) and on demand in January 2014. A producer of numerous award-winning shorts, Tamara Anghie was nominated for an Oscar® in 2009 for producing the narrative short film New Boy. The film won over 30 international awards including the Tribeca Film Festival and a Special Mention at the Berlinale, as well as being named as "A Film For Humanity" by Unica, Unicef's media division. New Boy is now used in classrooms around the world as part of anti-bullying, diversity and inclusion curriculum.
