Katherine Rose Riley was born in New York City, and then later moved to New Jersey with her parents. She began stage work when she was in kindergarten, and developed into the world of film when she began second grade. Her father, a playwright and stage actor Ward James Riley, began to tutor her in theatre and gave her the role of Young Emily Dickinson in his short film "My Letter to the World," which won Best Short Film at the Westchester Short Film festival. A few years later, she took on the role of Amy Pope in her father's short film "Mother Love," which won numerous awards and can be seen on Triggerstreet.com. After 4th grade, she began to get more interested in the stage. Currently, she is working in professional theatres across New Jersey and New York, working in musicals and stage plays.
