Mexican filmmaker, writer of the adventure comedy "Saving Private Perez", released commercially in the U.S. and Mexico, the musical dramedy "Volando Bajo" and the romantic comedy with a fantastic twist "Cinderelo". He is developing as a director and screenwriter the adventure-coming of age film "Gato encerrado" with Pato Safa and Mónica Lozano as producers. Directed the short fiction film "Floppy", selected in festivals in and outside Mexico. Co-directed the animated short "¿Gustas?" and was screenwriter and assistant director of the short "El último chichiluco", which is part of the collective long feature movie "Sucedió en un día". He is producer of the animated short "Close to Saskia" and producer of the videoclip "Nalguita" for the band Plastilina Mosh. He has directed advertising productions inside and outside of Mexico, and assisted in the Production and Direction departments, and as a script consultant, for various movie projects. As a screenwriter for international productions, he has projects in development such as the biopic "Velvet, the unspeakable story of Julia Pastrana", the intimate comedy "I can walk your dog", the bilingual musical "Road to Chimichanga" and the sequel "Salvando a Salvatore Pérez". In August 2019, STORYTEL, the world's leading service for audio books and original content in audio launched the first season of "La calle", a series created and written by Francisco Payó González and renowned novelist Antonio Ortuño, inspired by the experiences of both as young journalists in the 90s.
