Matt Marlin

Matt Marlin is from Boston, MA and went to school at Oberlin College, in Ohio for English and Cinema Studies. At Oberlin he met the friends and collaborators who he would found the experimental indie Brooklyn bands, Pterodactyl and Starring. He directed music videos and toured the world with his bands through the 2000s and eventually went back to school for film at Chapman in 2014, earning his MFA in Film Directing in 2017. He is now developing feature projects to direct, while working as a 1st Assistant Director.
