Prolific assistant director, editor and screenwriter in London and Hollywood during the 60's and 70's, Antal retired to Cornwall and, inspired by the beautiful landscapes, he returned to film-making for 2002's Hwerow Hweg (2002) . Other projects were touted for production, but lack of funding forced his film company, West-Coast Productions, to cease in 2003. He has instead returned to writing scripts and novels and is working on two biographies of his life and works.
