Jose was born in Mesa, Arizona and raised in South Chandler, Arizona. He graduated from Chandler High in 94' and started his pursuit of acting soon after. He worked a day as an extra on "Waiting to Exhale" and knew instantly that he would follow his dream and dedicate his life to becoming an actor. He took a break after becoming a father at a young age but then got back into it and worked ten years in Arizona before moving to Los Angeles in Dec of 2009. One of his highlights as an actor in Arizona were shooting "Angels, Devils and Men" in Az as well as traveling to London, England and Paris, France to complete the film with the great UK director Lindsay Shonteff. Another highlight was making 10 direct to video films with Pumpkin Patch Pictures based out of the Bay Area. Jose also shot "Sabor Tropical" in Panama.
Jose transitioned well after his move to Los Angeles and has been a working actor for over a decade. Career highlights includes his roles in "The Walking Dead: Red Machete", "Lowlife", "Dead Bullet", playing a voice in "Resident Evil: End of Zoe", and four episodes on "Por Amar Sin Ley" that were shot in Mexico City.
Jose works consistently as an actor, voice over artist, model, hand model and motion capture performer.
The end of 2019 and 2020 have two of Jose's biggest releases. One includes the Sci-Fi Blockbuster "Monsters of Men" directed by Mark Toia that was shot in Cambodia. Another release is the hot new comedy "Josh Taylor's Prom Date" that was shot in Norway. "Sensitive and in Love" that Jose shot in the Philippines is also slated for release.
