Alberto Pernet

Currently working on his new feature film "Mala Madre", a film about motherhood, migration and emotional bonds. The project is open to co-production partners. Pernet was born in Argentina where he got training and experience in the film industry, studying Film Direction at "Fundación Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires" while he started working on national television. In Argentina he shot several short films, both fiction and documentary. In 1999 he moves to Madrid where he directs two awarded short films: El extra (2003) and "María (2014)". Alberto has also a long way in seminars, co-production forums and screenwriting laboratories. Since 2011 he is the director and executive producer of the famous Spanish TV series El secreto de Puente Viejo (2011). But his audiovisual experience is wide, having worked in a lot of other important Spanish TV series such as 7 vidas (1999), Aquí no hay quien viva (2003), La que se avecina (2007)...assuming direction and executive production roles.
