Manoj Bhatnagar, A gold medalist in Mechanical engineering from Agra university, entered Mumbai film industry as a Music director in Hindi film "Roohi" and then excelled in the Madras film industry with a big musical hit in Tamil "Oomai Vizigal" which was a trend setter winning several awards. In a span of fifteen years in Madras, Manoj did 146 films as a music director winning awards as Best Music Director for Seven Tamil films. There after, he produced Seventeen Tamil and Telugu movies and the last two Tamil films "Enrendrum Kaadal" and "Good luck," were written, produced and directed by him which became mega hits in South India. He became the First North Indian to produce and direct a mega blockbuster in Tamil in the history of South Indian Cinema with Vijay , Rambha and Bhanupriya and then, "Good luck" with Prashant and Ria Sen, winning several awards and critic acclaims. Back to Mumbai in 2004, he established Spice team Entertainments. The company has so far produced 23 films in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, English and Bhojpuri Apart from producing several movies, he has written and directed English film 'Chess...the game plan' starring Mahima Chaudhary and Anupam Kher which is now getting ready for global release. The film got superb response from all sections in Cannes Film festival. Another Hindi film "Good girls Sleep Alone?", is now on initial stages of its launch which Manoj is the Director, Producer, Writer, Screenplay Writer, Music Director and Lyrics Writer. Apart from his various films being produced by his company and his foray into the music world as Music Director of about 150 films, Manoj has also done the Story, Screenplay, Dialogues, Lyrics.
