Born in Alexandria, Virginia, studied political science and played football at James Madison University, worked in broadcast news and produced commercials for Ogilvy in New York for Kodak, American Express and Duracell before joining Homestead. Founded aWounded Knee, an independent film company in 2002 with the mandate to make pretty good films.
