Biography

Annabel Allison is an award winning Director/Editor, full of quirky concepts that she can easily translate into engaging film content for multi platforms. In 2014 Annabel won 4 awards at international film festivals for her short film 'Letterbox'. After graduating with a degree in film from the University of Westminster, she went to work in the very happening music video industry. Back when there were budgets for these things. The company was Love Films and her boss was the late James Le Bonn. Love films made promos for household names (Curiosity Killed the Cat, Lisa B, Right Said Fred,) but also supported emerging West London Hip hop talent. She went on to work in comedy, directing and editing Billy Connolly's live shows and retrospectives ('2 Night Stand' as director editor and 'Erect for 30 years' as editor of live footage). Other credits include, The South Bank Show, World Time Team, Wildlife Watch. Her company Wax Films makes film content for clients like Waitrose, Kate Lanz, Santander Consumer Finance, Landmark Information Group, DNV-GL, Grunenthal, Amadeus and Salt Media. She continues to pursue her film writing and directing for narrative.
