Eric Hobsbawm

Eric Hobsbawm was born on June 9, 1917 in Alexandria, Egypt. He is known for his work on Origins of the Mafia (1976), Jazz (2001) and Machine Gun: History Down the Barrel of a Gun (1999). He was married to Marlene Schwarz and Muriel Seaman. He died on October 1, 2012 in London, England.
