Thomas Polanski

Biography

Thomas Polanski is an American actor and writer. He has attended several prestigious acting schools. In San Francisco, Polanski auditioned for, and was accepted as a scholarship student, at the Shelton Studios which is nationally recognized as one of the finest Method Acting schools in the country. He completed a four year intensive acting program taught by Jean Shelton, the schools founder, and Wendell K. Phillips, an original member of the Group Theater, who taught James Dean and Marlon Brando at the Actors Studio. Thomas auditioned for Charles E. Conrad and was invited to join Mr. Conrad's legendary Master Class. Mr. Conrad, Sanford Meisner's primary teaching assistant at the Neighborhood Playhouse, was the film industry's most distinguished acting teacher at the time. Robert Duvall, Jack Nicholson, Susan Sarandon, Dee Wallace, and Joanne Woodward were among the students who studied with Mr. Conrad at the CEC Studio. Thomas Polanski is one of only ten actors to have been chosen by Francis Ford Coppola and Elisabeth Leustig to study with Marlon Brando at his Mulholland residence. Mr. Polanski, along with Oscar winner Bobby Moresco, and the Actors Gym, developed the critically acclaimed, Working 2020, which Polanski also costarred in. He continues to work on his craft for the purpose of fulfilling his potential as an actor.
