Gökhan Özoguz

Gökhan Özoguz is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the Turkish rock band Athena. He and his twin brother Hakan Özoguz have published their debut album in 1998. However, the band's origins date back to 1987. They perform a broad field of music from folk to punk. Athena represented Turkey at the "Eurovision Song Contest 2004" in Istanbul with "For Real". The band completed the contest in fourth place with 195 points. He was one of the four coaches of the reality TV show and singing competition O Ses Türkiye (2011), Turkish version The Voice (2011). He has started shooting Kendi Yolumda (2022) in December 2019, which will be released on 6 March 2020. He is also the producer of the movie.
