Marc Mailand is the founder and owner of Flash Bomb Audio, LLC. He is also a multi-award-winning Sound Editor, Sound Designer, and Mixer. Marc started his career editing dialogue on animated shows for FOX, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Disney. Soon after, he discovered his passion for sound design and sound effect editing. In 1998 he won an Emmy for sound editing on "The Angry Beavers (1997)", a Nickelodeon cartoon. After 5 years of sound design and editing, Marc found himself at Buzzy's Recording in Hollywood, CA. Here Marc recorded voice-over for commercials, trailers, television shows and video games. In 2001 Marc joined the top editing team at Warner Brothers studios. In 2001 he was nominated for his second Emmy, for the live action, primetime show "Third Watch (1999)". In 2004 Marc accepted an invitation to join many of his former colleagues at Hacienda Post. Here he supervised shows for Cartoon Network. In 2005 Marc won a Golden Reel, for sound design on the animated Movie "Bionicle 2: Legends of Metru Nui (2004)". Wanting to broaden his horizons and intrigued by the latest technology, Marc accepted an offer to join video game developer Insomniac Games. During his 8 years at Insomniac, Marc helped ship 9 AAA video games. On these projects Marc acted as the "Cinematic Lead", and was responsible for creating around one third of each title's in-game assets. Marc's extensive knowledge of sound, across all mediums, along with his talented network of friends served as inspiration to form Flash Bomb Audio - The Leading Creative Network of Audio Professionals.
