Alvin Ecarma

Involved in severe auto accident in 1997. Uses prosthetic limbs (left leg and left hand). Also lost vision in right eye in same accident. Handles behind-the-camera duties using jerry-rigged tools of his own design. Attended Our Lady of Mercy School, Potomac, Maryland - 1969-1977 and Gonzaga College High School, Washington, DC - 1977-1981. Attended New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, New York, New York- 1983-1985. Served on an unnamed Alasken fishing vessel from 1983-1985. Served as a merchant marine for two years after college in order to find his emotional center. Nearly jailed by Turkish authorities in 1987.
