Michelle Osorio

Michelle Osorio was born August 11, 1981 in San Diego, California. She moved back and forth from San Diego to Orange County throughout her childhood. She attended Huntington Beach High School and the Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts, where she specialized in Musical Theater. Osorio's film, Safety with Scissors (2002) made its U.S. premiere at Tromadance Film Festival. The short went on to win 1st Place in Comedy at both Best Fest and the Imperial Beach International Film Festival. The young filmmaker then worked in education as an Instructor for the San Diego Women Film Foundation's Divas Direct program and the Teen Producers Project of Media Arts Center San Diego. Osorio joined DivX, a digital media company, as a Creative Producer in 2006. She directed Boomer's Day Off and The Real Sims hit webseries on YouTube.
