Vivek Tewari

Born in the village Paanti, District Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, India in 1976, he came to Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh the same year. after finishing his schooling from Paonta sahib, he came to Delhi in 1995 for his graduation. graduated from Kirori Mal College, Delhi university, New Delhi, India. while there, he joined the famous dramatic society of the college "The Players" as an actor, and that was the time when he realized what his goal is. he started as an actor and was well appreciated but he knew his shortcomings. he decided to be a director of cinema. he served as secretary of the same society for one year and directed 2 plays. meanwhile, he was also part of the Sri Ram center for performing arts and culture and was doing plays professionally. after his graduation, he did a one-year course in Advertising and then in December 1999 he shifted to Mumbai and joined Anupam Kher's company. He is part of two major feature films from Indian Cinema, Om Jai Jagadish" and Shabd. He went to United States of America for advanced studies in Filmmaking.
