Brian De Castro

Brian was born in East Orange, NJ, but grew up in Parsippany, NJ. Upon graduation from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ in 1983, Brian began working at NBC in New York. After doing a variety of work, he settled into his role as a production assistant, and then writer and producer in the promotions department, working on Saturday Night Live, Late Night with David Letterman, Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Fallon, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Later with Bob Costas, Last Call with Carson Daly, The Today Show, Dateline and Nightly News. He was honored twice by The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for contributions to the Emmy Award winning achievement for outstanding writing for a variety, music or comedy program, for Saturday Night Live in 2002 and Late Night with Conan O'Brien in 2007. Brian lives in South Orange, NJ and runs the Gore 4 website, dedicated to horror, sci-fi and fantasy movies, television, music and more.
