Biography

Born in Dominican Republic. For more than 35 years she was a children's music singer and television figure in Puerto Rico. Zaiter was already a known children's entertainment figure and a renowned diver when she suffered a life changing accident around 1976. During the 60s & 70s, her fame rose, as she went on to record many well selling children's albums and to have a daily television show on Channel 7 Rikavision. This show went on to last until that channel closed its doors temporarily. She also became a speaker for the MDA and she became an important propulsor of the association's telemarathons there. Zaiter later moved to WKAQ-TV Telemundo Channel 2 in 1986 where she starred in more children's shows as Teatrimundo, Telecomicas and Festival infantil navideno de Telemundo. She is currently in WIPR TV 6 the public TV station in her program dedicated to handicapped people.
