Dick Jacobs

Composer, conductor, arranger and recording-company executive. He was educated at New York University, and was Artists-and-Repertoire director at several record companies, including Coral Records. One of his first arranging positions was for the Tommy Dorsey orchestra in the 1940s, after which he partnered with 'Sy Oliver' to arrange on a freelance basis.
