Biography

Peter Mether is an award winning director residing in Sydney, Australia. He floats in between drama and commercials and creative direction, wherever the creative challenge takes him. As a commercials director he is primarily known for his performance (dialogue), car commercials and mouth-watering food - always bringing a sense of fun professionalism to the set. Peter has just completed the family/fantasy/adventure short feature 'Spirit-ed', with the premise 'What if Angels went to school?' The work was a proof of concept for the feature and completed while studying at the prestigious Australian Film & Television school. The short starred Harry Potter's Miriam Margolyes, Mad Max's Bruce Spence and approx 100 angel school students. At AFTRS the film was awarded the Kenneth B Myer Award for most outstanding project. 'Spirit-ed' was also selected by Screen New South Wales to receive film funding. Peter is now writing the feature trilogy and tv series. Peter is also attached to direct the sci-fi action-thriller 'EarthLike'. More details to follow...
