Randala was born in 1961, raised and educated in London, UK.
Studies in film, poetry, contemporary art and culture.
Her youth was spent as a London underground poet. Published by Independent Press at the tender age of nineteen.
First film, a short, 'Metropolis Apocalypse', won critical acclaim at the Cannes Film Festival.
Her first feature as writer/director in 1999 was shot in 35mm, at the Salton Sea and surrounding California desert, in thirteen days with a budget of only $18.000 - an astounding achievement by any standard, considering the stunning finished results and the reception it received at local and international festivals.
Current resident of Los Angeles, California. Independent screenwriter and director.
