Eric Jackson

Jackson is a native of Detroit, Michigan. His mother recognizing her son's creativity early in life led Jackson to pursue an education in film from Howard University. Having worked mostly as a D.P. or camera operator, his breakthrough came when Kokayi Ampah gave Jackson an opportunity to work scouting locations for the film 8 Mile. Production designer Phillip Messina also encouraged Jackson to work in locations.
