Biography

Neshka Stefanova Robeva is a Bulgarian athlete and later coach in gymnastics and choreographer. She was born on May 26, 1946 in Russe, Bulgaria. She graduated School of Choreography and then Physical culture/Education Institute. She competed in the national team in rhythmic gymnastics with coach Juliet Shishmanova . In 1969 she became a world vice-champion. The she became a coach. During the period ( 1976 - 1999 ) she is the head coach of the Bulgarian national team in rhythmic gymnastics. At World Championships in Strasbourg 1983 champion became Dilyana Georgieva with assistants Anelia Ralenkova and Lily Ignatova . At World Championship in Valladolid 1985 Dilyana Georgieva is again world champion , Lily Ignatova was again second, and third is Bianca Panova . In 1985 - 1986 Georgi Djulgerov was shooting two films: "For Neshka Robeva and her girls" and "For the girls and their Neshka Robeva". These films show her innovative work style. At the World Championship 1987 Bianca Panova won all the gold medals, which is a unique case in the history of gymnastics. The graduate of Robeva Maria Petrova is invariably the first in three consecutive world championships: in Alicante '93, Paris '94 and Vienna '95 . For outstanding achievements in their work Robeva has won almost all state awards and the award for contribution to the world women's Olympic sport. Famous Robeva's compositions are "Summer Time", "Firebird," "Toccata and Fugue in D minor", "Bolero". For almost 25 years of coaching she won 294 medals, 7 absolute world, 10 European titles and two Olympic titles vice. In 2000 Robeva creates a troupe of 35 girls and boys, which represent a modern interpretation of the Bulgarian and Balkan folklore. Performances "Two Worlds", "Destiny" and "Ready" are becoming increasingly popular. The troupe has over 400 performances at home and abroad - Broadway Singapore "Art Festival", Greece, Turkey, Belgium, Israel, Italy and Macedonia.
