Lara Rodrigues

Lara Rodriguez was seen in her first big role (Lucia Encerrabodes de Oliveira aka Narizinho) on October 12 of 2000 (in Brazil, that was "Kid Day"). She got the role when she moved from Minas Gerais when she was about ten. But she was not going to be the one to play the role at first (or so she thought). The girl who was probably going to get the part, was a girl named Fernanda. Since Fernanda was eleven, and the character was eight, the people holding the auditions thought that Lara should have gotten the part, because she looked young. So she did. In 2004, she said goodbye to the cast of "O Sitio do Pica-Pau Amarello" with a lot of tears knowing that she was too old to play the part and said hello to a brand new role (Camila) on the Brazilian show "Malhacao". She also had to leave the set in 2005. Her dreams have exploded a lot, but she still has the courage to audition for another part. Let's just hope that if she does get another part, she doesn't have to go through with the tears again!
