Chantal Filson

A love of design has led to many years in costume design and millinery. Quarantine allowed time to focus on her first love, historical fashion, resulting in the creation of a pattern line, a millinery book and the founding of Costume On: an Online Conference for Historical Costuming. The international conference features live teachers and museum curators through video conferencing for workshops on all aspects of historical costuming and living history. The biannual event is held in the spring and fall, supplemented by an online master class series of solo seminars throughout the year.
