Conrad Murray is the Artistic Director of theatre company TdeC, and the Director of the BAC's (Battersea Arts Centre) YPT (Young Peoples Theatre).
During 2009 he shall be working on 'Reasons for Living' a autobiographical hip hop comedy piece about the positives of existence within our time, and 'Being Brown', a piece which is partly an installation, partly theatre, based on being half Indian. Both have been performed at, and produced by the BAC. He is proud to be part of the BAC's Beat box academy, in which he works alongside innovative and inspirational artists Jes*star and MC Zani.
As a founder member of Hip hop group rODIUM, he has produced numerous indie releases, EPS and music video, which are on iTunes, MySpace and YouTube. He was previously managed by Elliot Davies, and signed to Precious records, and Precious Publishing. He has formed a new and collaborative group with other performance artists, Nicole Rivron, Tyrone Rhoomes, Barry Murray, and Peter Chay with the appellation 'Diaspora'.
He is not to be confused with the Conrad Murray of 24 Hour Party People fame, or the Dr Conrad Murray of Michael Jackson infamy.
