Jamie Burton-Oare

Jamie Burton-Oare grew up in Flint, Michigan. She is her mother's only child, but grew up with six cousins, an aunt, a great-grandmother and her mother under the same roof. She is a child of bi-racial parentage, an African-American mother and a Caucasian father. She graduated Salutatorian of her high school class and Magna Cum Laude from Howard University. She moved to New York City to study and perform on stage before voyaging to Los Angeles, where she resides.
