Chris Cooke

Left Jersey in the 1980s to study Art, which he did fairly badly at, before arriving in Nottingham and pretending to be a student where his friend was on the film course. Eventually long term unemployment allowed him onto a scheme training people in film and video which finally led to his first short film, Map of the Scars, set all the way back in Jersey.
