Julie Cruze

Daughter of director James Cruze and actress Marguerite Snow. As an infant, Julie appeared in Thanhouser films with her mother. Julie's father filed a suit against her asking to cancel some deeds that he'd left to her in the amount of $150,000. He contended that Julie was incompetent in handling her own affairs and wanted the court to name her a guardian. James claimed that the money was intended to save expenses of administration in the event of his death. Julie fought back claiming that the money was deeded to her in property in order avoid it being taken away due to debts. Julie won the case.
