Manfred Salzgeber

Manfred Salzgeber was the long standing director of a portion of the annual Berlin Film Festival known as the Info Show, and later the Panorama, from 198o through 1994, when he died that August of AIDS.He specialized in bringing the work of new directors before they became well known, to Germany and to the broader international audience ,and was known for giving underground Cinema and gay filmmaking a forum.
