Joseph Litzinger

Joe Litzinger is a Primetime Emmy-nominated TV producer and award-winning documentary filmmaker. He is currently the Executive Producer of National Geographic and BBC Studios' six-time Emmy-winning series Life Below Zero (2013) as well as two spinoffs - LBZ: Port Protection (2015) and Life Below Zero: Next Generation (2020). In addition to producing hundreds of hours of nonfiction television programming, he co-directed and executive produced two multiple award-winning feature length documentary films under his production company banner Interesting Human Media. Joe has been a speaker on many industry panels including for the International Documentary Association, Deadline, Reel Screen, KCRW and has served as a documentary mentor at SxSW. Joe currently lives in Los Angeles, where he nurtures his other passion - his family.
