Mark Hensley

Mark Hensley is an Emmy Award Winning, Los Angeles based Audio-Post engineer. He has an extensive Audio-Engineering background spanning more than 30 years, starting in Live sound in the Netherlands. After moving to San Francisco, Mark worked at one of the Bay Area's most prestigious music studio's, The Plant. A short vacation break in Vancouver resulted in a permanent move after Mark met his wife there. He initially worked as a freelance producer/engineer in various music studio's, and by chance moved into Audio-Post. In 2003, Mark was hired full-time by Vancouvers premier Audio-Post facility, Post Modern Sound, to fill the position of Re-Recording mixer, which resulted in numerous nominations and awards for his work there. In 2008 he moved to Los Angeles where he quickly developed a solid reputation as a re-recording mixer. He is in his 8th year as dialog mixer at Smartpostsound.
