Kanika Kohli (born 30 December 1967) is a young and beautiful Indian small screen television actress who has grown her popularity through her performance in the popular TV serial Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki (2005). The show was produced by Rajshri Productions and premiered on Sahara One. It is the 6th longest serial in India. The story of the show is about a rich and wealthy girl who got married to a man who belongs to lower middle class. Therefore she managed to survive in middle class structure. Kanika Kohli essayed the character of Khushi Thapar/Khushi Rohit Mehra in this serial opposite her husband, Ankur Nayyar. Her character has negative aspects but as a whole it is not a negative character. She also gained fame in the family drama film, Bond of Love (2001) in 2001 and in the romantic comedy film, Horn 'OK' Pleassss (2009) in 2009. Kanika also played the negative role of Nisha in the serial Aandhi (2003) from 2003 to 2004. In the very same year, she played the role of Naina in another Hindi serial entitled Jeet (2003), aired on Star Plus in which her husband Ankur Nayyar was the male lead of the serial. Kanika also portrayed the role of Kanan Sinha, younger sister of Kashish in the TV serial Kahiin To Hoga (2003). She was seen as the fourth daughter of Professor Sinha. The serial was produced by Balaji Telefilms. Other than this she performed in another serial Miilee and essayed the character of Romana. But Kanika was playing a negative role which is of a rich and pampered girl who does not like Millie. She is a blooming talent in television industry. In 2010, she was cast as Seema Tribhuvan Suryavanshi in the drama serial, Rishton Se Badi Pratha (2010). She has also performed in commercial ads and considered it challenging to convey the message within 30 seconds. She has been married to Ankur Nayyar since 1997. They have one daughter.
