Lucia Zucchetti is a film and TV editor who began her career cutting Lynne Ramsay's award winning short films: Small Deaths (Jury Prize, Cannes Film Festival 1996), Gasman (Jury Prize, Cannes Film Festival 1998 and Scottish BAFTA for Best Short Film 1997) and Kill The Day (Special Jury Award, Clermont Ferrand Film festival 1997). Lucia went on to work with Lynne Ramsay on the award-winning feature films: Ratcatcher and Morvern Callar with Samantha Morton.
In 2003 Lucia worked on John Crowley's debut feature film Intermission (Winner of Best Irish Film 2003, as well as many other awards), she then went on to cut his 2007 feature film Boy A, which won her a BAFTA Award for Best Editing. She received a further BAFTA nomination for her work on the Academy nominated film The Queen, directed by Stephen Frears --who she also collaborated with on The Deal, Mrs Henderson Presents and Cherie.
Lucia's work followed with Game Change for US director Jay Roach-- starring Julianne Moore and Woody Harrelson-- nominated for multiple Primetime Emmies, including Lucia's own nomination for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Miniseries or a Movie.
Lucia has also collaborated with many other critically acclaimed directors such as Michael Radford (The Merchant of Venice), Lone Scherfig (Their Finest), Susanna White (Our Kind of Traitor), Wash Westmoreland (Colette), Julian Jarrold (The Crown, ep 6, Season 4), Ben Sharrock (Limbo), and Clio Barnard (The Essex Serpent).
