Biography

An Electrician by trade, Michael entered the film making industry by chance when he was asked if he could provide the safe distribution of electricity to student film makers during the production of "The Snow Field." It was his first "Barbecue" and he was hooked before the film wrapped. He started working in an equipment rental house in Boston and learned as much as he could before entering the field. Starting as an On Set Electric, he became a Gaffer on independent films. Michael had done some minor work on stage at Duxbury High School, but had never really pursued acting until he was involved with film making. He took every class he could at any place that offered them in and around Boston, started auditioning for student films at various Boston Colleges and built a reel/resume. He joined The Screen Actors Guild in 1998 and later started performing for as many Casting Directors as he could in NY through The SAG Foundation's NYCAP Events. (New York Casting Access Program.) In 2016 he had his first Featured Role as a Defense Lawyer in the courtroom scene of "Detroit." Later in 2016, he was about to move to Atlanta for the winter when his Agent called with his first Role. 12 scenes as a Chief of Police in "Trust No 1."
