Multiple award-winning Director / Writer, Antonio Zavala Kugler has ventured into conflict zones in the Balkans and Central America, in an audacious and varied career that has included stints with NASA, PBS, the BBC, the National Institute of Fine-Arts, the National Air and Space Institute, the National Institute of History and Archaeology, the Mexican Institute of Cinematography and such masters of the craft as Roland Joffé, Julian Schnabel, Geoffrey Haines-Stiles and Anna Roth. His partners and production team represent the cream of the crop in current Mexican filmmaking.
