Monte Williams

Monte Williams was born in Quincy, Illinois, attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, and graduate school at Washington University in St. Louis. A former reporter, Williams was campaign press secretary for Texas Governor Ann Richards before he and writing partner Fred Ellis (also a DePauw grad) began writing screenplays. Steven Spielberg first hired the pair to write for the ABC drama High Incident. Since then, Williams and Ellis have written and sold numerous pilots to NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX and USA networks. Williams lives in Austin, Texas.
