Karen West

Karen West, a Melbourne based model was Australian Playboy's 1980 Playmate of the Year. This launched her into a supporting role on "The Paul Hogan Show" (replacing Karen Pini, Australian Penthouse's 1979 Pet of the Year) and brief appearances in feature films including 1982's "Squizzy Taylor". Her appearance in a sketch with Paul Hogan involving doing push-ups with the aid of an adjustable 'banana lounge' recliner was used in many 'best of Australian television' specials for the next 30 years.
