Biography

White was an outfielder for the New York Yankees from 1965 to 1979, playing on the team's three consecutive pennant winning teams of 1976-77-78. His Yankee career was what led to his several bit part roles as an actor. He played in Japan after his career with the Yankees ended and was also a Yankees coach in 1986.
